| From our Director |
The Northwest Regional Professional Development Program (NWRPDP) is a state-funded professional development agency whose task is to assist all five of our districts when important changes to education come from our State Department. The 2011 roll-out of the Common Core State Standards is the NWRPDP’s latest task, and we are anxious to begin working with you.
Our fourteen highly experienced Regional Trainers are ready to help all schools in Carson, Douglas, Lyon, Storey and Washoe Counties with this important change. We can offer you a variety of techniques for bringing the professional development that your teachers require: site-embedded workshops, district-level in-services, and on-line resources for schools to independently access and utilize as we roll-out the Common Core State Standards.
Whatever your needs with Common Core, we are ready to assist your school and district with the implementation of these new standards.
